Aktor z „Riverdale” zabił własną matkę

Dwa lata temu media obiegła okropna wieść. Ryan Grantham zabił swoją matkę, strzelając jej w tył głowy, gdy ta grała na fortepianie. Jak się później okazało, w ten sposób aktor chciał ją "ostrzec". Planował rzeź na sporą skalę i nie chciał, aby jego rodzicielka była tego świadkiem.

Głównym celem mordercy było zabicie premiera Kanady - Justina Trudeau. Planował również masakrę na uniwersytecie, w którym studiował. Ostatecznie zrezygnował z tych zamiarów i sam oddał się w ręce policji.

Jak poinformowała prokuratura, Ryan nagrał wideo, na którym przyznaje się do winy i pokazuje ciało zabitej matki. Czyn zakwalifikowano jako morderstwo drugiego stopnia - grozi za nie kara dożywotniego pozbawienia wolności. I taki wyrok otrzymał aktor. Będzie mógł ubiegać się o wcześniejsze zwolnienie po 14. latach.

Aktor chorował na depresję, miał myśli samobójcze, a także pragnienie zabijania innych. Odkryto jego notatki, w których przyznał się m.in. do tego, że nie radzi sobie z coraz większą popularnością.
