Instagram uwielbia kopiować od innych gigantów. Stąd pojawiają się nowe opcje, które najpierw poddaje się testom, sprawdzając, co lepiej się kliknie. Gdy pojawiło się Stories, zarzucano Instagramowi, że kopiuje od Snapchata. Tym razem Reels miało zostać "skradzione" z TikToka.Instagram Reels wprowadzono pod koniec 2021 roku. To narzędzie, które pozwala na stworzenie krótkich materiałów wideo. W aplikacji znajdziemy je pod oddzielną zakładką. Nad wszystkim czuwa oczywiście algorytm, który sprawdza, jakie treści nam odpowiadają.

Trudno się nie zgodzić - Reels do złudzenia przypomina TikToka. Użytkownicy tęsknią jednak za dawnym Insgramem, gdzie publikowało się zdjęcia znajomych, a strony głównej nie zalewały krótkie filmiki. Niestety, coraz częściej Instagrama zalewają materiały wideo. Posty pojedynczych osób, które obserwujemy, rzadko się pokazują. Ucinane są zasięgi, a algorym narzuca nam posty innych, których nawet nie obserwujemy. Nowa aktualizacja Instagrama to niewypał. Ale czy użytkownicy odrzucą Reels, aby zniknęły z platformy? Czas pokaże.
