Co wydarzy się w nowych odcinkach "Riverdale"?

Niestety, przez pandemię pokrzyżowały się plany twórców Riverdale. W marcu 2020 jeden z członków ekipy został zakażony COVID-19. Prace na jakiś czas zostały przerwane. Jak wiedzą fani produkcji, sezon 4. zakończył się niespodziewanie. Nie dowiedzieliśmy się, kto podgląda mieszkańców miasteczka ani też nie byliśmy świadkami na balu maturalnym głównych bohaterów. Twórcy nie rozwiązali najważniejszych wątków. Nic dziwnego, że czekamy z zapartym tchem na ciąg dalszy. Jak się okazuje, wątki zostaną doprowadzone do finału na początku piątego sezonu.

Riverdale 5: kiedy premiera?

Emisja nowych odcinków Riverdale rozpocznie się 20 stycznia 2021. Fani z USA będą mogli je obejrzeć w każdą środę o godzinie 21:00 w telewizji CW. Nie wiadomo, czy nowe odcinki będą trafiać na platformę Netflix po oficjalnej premierze. Jak podają amerykańskie media, serial może pojawić się nawet z 3-miesięcznym opóźnieniem.

Riverdale 5: fabuła

Początek 5. sezonu rozpocznie się balem maturalnym. Twórcy zdecydowali się na podróż w czasie. Jak podał Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, w kolejnych odcinkach Riverdale zobaczymy Betty, Jugheada, Archie'go, Veronicę i innych bohaterów, którzy przenieśli się w rozmaite strony świata i wiodą dorosłe życie. Przeskok czasowy zaplanowany przez twórców będzie wynosił aż 7 lat! Oznacza to, że bohaterowie serialu będą mniej więcej w tym samym wieku, co odtwórcy głównych ról. Jest to ogromnym plusem.

Riverdale 5: zmiany w obsadzie i nie tylko

Serwis Deadline ujawnił szczegóły związane z nowym sezonem. Veronica Lodge weźmie ślub! Jej mężem będzie Chad Gekko, czyli zazdrosny, żądny kontroli mężczyzna pracujący na Wall Street. Nowy bohater nie będzie chciał zaakceptować przyjaźni swojej żony z Archiem Andrewsem. W rolę Chada Gekko wcieli się Chris Mason - 29-letni aktor, którego możemy znać z Akademii wampirów.

Jak wiadomo, nastąpią także zmiany w obsadzie. Skeet Ulrich, czyli odtwórca roli FP Jonesa oraz Marisol Nichols, która grała Hermione Lodge, odchodzą z Riverdale. Jak potoczą się losy ich bohaterów? To na razie niespodzianka.
