Nie wiadomo dlaczego ta scena została wycięta. Chodzi o pożegnanie Harry'ego i Dudleya, gdy Dursleyowie opuszczali Privet Drive 4. Chłopak podziękował czarodziejowi za uratowanie życia a nawet okazał mu skruchę. To był istotny fragment książki, ponieważ miał wpływ na przyszłe relacje chłopaków.
Harry Potter i Insygnia Śmierci: Część II
Gdy Zakon Feniksa przybył do Hogwartu tuż przed bitwą, wśród jego członków nie było widać Nimfadory Lupin. Dopiero później żona Remusa magicznie pojawiła się u obok niego. W usuniętej scenie zobaczyć można, jak wbiega ona wprost w ramiona swojego męża twierdząc, że to on bardziej jej potrzebuje niż syn. To krótkie ujęcie jest jednak wzruszające i silnie oddziałowuje na emocje. Szczególnie, jeśli pomyślimy jak zakończyła się ta bitwa.
Harry Potter i Insygnia Śmierci: Część II
Ta scena nie ma wiele wspólnego z fabułą książki. Po "upozorowaniu" własnej śmierci, Harry został przyniesiony przez Hagrida na dziedziniec szkoły. Wówczas wszyscy, wraz z Sami Wiecie Kim myśleli, że chłopak nie żyje. Po poruszającej przemowie Neville'a okazało się, że Harry jednak jest w dobrej formie. Wyciąga więc różdżkę i atakuje węża czarnoksiężnika, Nagini. W sieci zobaczyć można też zobaczyć inną wersję tej sceny. Główną różnicą jest krótkie, choć istotne ujęcie. W tym przypadku to nie Harry sięga po różdżkę, lecz rzuca mu ją... Dracon Malfoy.
